I have developed some very specific techniques which we will put into action in an attempt to access all parts of the mind.

By welcoming all parts of the mind to the journaling process, we are able to access information that would normally not be available, in a safe and non-threatening environment. We start with an open ended question, an invitation: Who needs to talk?

This process involves being a quiet observer, insuring all parts of the mind are welcome, that anything written in the journals will not be judged, that this is will be a safe journey for all parts of the mind.

We are simply looking for information that will lead to a better understanding of what is going on inside.

When we understand all parts of the mind, we will be better equipped to understand how we think, what we feel, why we react and behave the way we do. Once we have an understanding of how our mind works, we can work on change.

Change happens when we have an understanding of what is happening inside. Growth. Healing. Same thing. Without an understanding of what is going on inside, we continually find ourselves  tripping over ourselves, and bumping up against the same issues.

These are the issues that we are being asked to look at again. Using journaling in this manner will allow you to explore your inner world safely, and without judgment or negative consequence. This is how healing happens.

Our main goal is to allow access to information, thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. This should not be a scary process, but an exciting journey of discovery.

By allowing a free flow of dialog between all parts of the mind, you will have access to information that is vital to your healing process.

This will help to end some of the internal chaos that gets in your way.
